Full Body Chakra Balancing Meditation
Chakras are energetic centers located along key sections of the vagus nerve that reflect our emotional and physical state of being. When we are emotionally or physically out of balance, the associated chakra is too. Since everything is interconnected, when we meditate and intentionally send healing energy to the chakras via our breath, we alter how our body communicates and create the vibrational shift for deep alignment to occur on all levels. Inner Child Healing Meditation
Often our childhood traumas are the reason we develop negative habits and coping mechanisms to self-soothe and protect our wounded selves. Through inner child healing, we allow ourselves to penetrate the surface of our current problems and go to the root, to where it all began. By accepting and acknowledging our past and by compassionately showing up for ourselves where we may have not before, we can begin to heal the wounds of our past and feel more grounded, peaceful, & centered in our lives.
Feeling Into The Space
When we can take a moment to slow down and feel into the space within us and around us, we enter into the gap. The space in between breaths. From there we can cultivate stillness and open up to the flow of life by letting go of our attachments and freeing ourselves beyond the boundary of our skin and bones.
Aligning With Your Breath
This simple and grounding practice will help you attune to your breath and it's natural rhythm by practicing the art of surrender. By surrendering your attachments to control, you slowly begin to enter the gap in between breaths and the space of presence. In presence, you become less reactive and more responsive. When you respond rather than react, you'll be able to move through the world more consciously with every thought and action.
Deep Release Body Scan Meditation
This body scan meditation is best done in a peaceful, quiet space where you can lie down comfortably. By drawing your attention inward and utilizing your breath as a guide to create more space in your physical body, you'll begin to experience both physical and emotional release. Body scan meditations are a wonderful way to bring awareness into our physical being and the underlying tensions we carry, switch on the parasympathetic nervous system, and practice self-love as a method of healing.
Evening Wind Down Meditation
This evening meditation was created to help release any physical, emotional, and mental tension from the day. Whether you are planning on going to sleep, taking a nap, or just slowing down the rhythm of your day, this meditation will help you achieve that. Grab your favorite supportive props, lay down on your back, and prepare to be swept away into a deep state of rest. The practice is divided into a 15-minute guided portion and a 10-minute silent meditation.
Immune & Nervous Systems Strengthening Meditation
This powerful practice comes from the Kundalini yoga tradition and is a wonderful way to boost the function of the immune system, circulate oxygen throughout the body, and bring balance to the nervous system. I personally utilize this practice often when I am experiencing higher levels of stress and exhaustion to keep me feeling healthy and vibrant. Or that is holding you in its grips. Surrender to the present moment, release what is no longer serving you, and just see what arises.
